1.   Form the Memorial Day Craft Base.

Arrange the Popsicle sticks accordingly. Position 1 stick vertically. Then place 5 sticks over horizontally. Permanently fixed the stick-form with glue. Generously apply glue on sticks for a sturdy Memorial Day craft base. Leave to dry.

2.   Paint the Memorial Day Craft Base.

Alternately paint the horizontal sticks in red and white colors. Apply medium to heavy strokes to highlight the shades; and to make the craft seem catchy and vibrant. Leave to dry.

3.   Add the Memorial Day Craft Canton*.

Get the blue construction paper and cut an estimated size. Glue the cut piece accordingly.

*The Canton is the blue rectangular or square piece located at the leftmost part of the flag.

 4.  Put on the Memorial Day Craft Stars.

Take the printed Star template on sticker paper. Cut the stars and stick over the Canton accordingly.

Tip: It is better to print the Star template beforehand. This will allow the printer ink or toner to fully dry or stick on sticker paper.
